This is a very exciting and hectic time for Sinitta!
Sinitta was the 9th most successful female artist in the 1980’s and after a 22 year recording hiatus, she is back with what we reckon is going to be a fantastic summer anthem: ‘So Many Men, So Little Time’. Much like many of Sinitta’s famous hits, such as ‘So Macho’ or ‘Toy Boy’, her new single is a totally catchy, fun, sexy dance track – a hit for sure!
Don’t believe us? Listen to the track for yourself here:
Excitingly, the digital release of So Many Men, is timed to coincide with Sinitta’s appearance this weekend at London Pride, kicking off Saturday 28th of June. Sinitta will be performing on the Main Stage at this brilliant event at 16.05pm!
To those attending London Pride take a look at this video of Sinitta’s flash mob dance. If you learn it and attend her performance this Saturday, you might feature in her music video!
Here is the routine to learn: www.youtube.com/watch?v=FvnBJk1dQng
For one week only you can download the track through the new app PowaTag – a simple and easy way to buy the song. Download the app here: https://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/powatag/id667504703?mt=8
Then buy Sinitta’s song directly from your mobile with just one click!
There’s no rest for the wicked, and following her London Pride performance Sinitta will be straight off to Belfast to perform a gig at the Kremlin kicking off at Midnight. She will be performing 4 of her greatest hits as well as her brand new single. No doubt this will be a brilliant night.
Sinitta’s next gig to look forward to will be on the 19th of July, right up in the North East of the UK, as she will be performing at Northern Pride! So for all Sinitta’s Geordie fans, make sure you catch her performance between 17.15-17.35, where you will be treated to 5 songs!
Later that day, Sinitta will be back down South, and performing at Cambridge Roar, where she will be reliving the 80s and performing at their 80s themed night. So if you fancy travelling back in time for an evening – Sinitta will be on stage from 10pm!
Another scheduled performance for Sinitta will be on the 26th of July, where she will be performing at the fantastic Tobacco Dock venue at their ‘Out on the Dock’ Event! Here Sinitta will be treating us to two of her 80s hits, as well as of course the hit-to-be, So Many Men, So Little Time.
The next few weeks are non-stop for Sinitta and we can’t wait to hear her song all over the radio as well as catching some of her brilliant performance across the UK!
In only my second week working as a Project Executive for JJG Media, I was invited by Jason Gale, to come along to a press day to help promote a very exciting time for our fabulous client Sinitta. To say I was excited would be an understatement…and the day certainly didn’t disappoint.
The importance of the day was not lost on me: After a 22 year recording hiatus Sinitta is making a comeback with a new single, representing the sound of the summer, ‘So Many Men, So Little Time’. Originally her mother’s song, Sinitta has taken charge and created a fantastically catchy dance track. What makes this song even more exciting is that it is being released exclusively through the new app PowaTag – for one week to coincide with London Pride. This app means that you can buy the track with extreme ease – just a simple free download, enter your card details, play Sinitta’s song and immediately the option to buy the song will pop up on your phone!
Download the app by following this link: https://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/powatag/id667504703?mt=8
Then from July 4th, or perhaps the more aptly named ‘Sinitta Independence Day’, ‘So Many Men So Little Time’ will be available to download from iTunes, Spotify, Amazon and so on.
These exciting details mean it is clear to see why there was so much press interest in Sinitta – which meant we had a busy day ahead of us! Sinitta began her press day by speaking to ITV Tynes Tees, before heading to our ‘base’ for the day – Pavilion on Kensington High Street. Here Sinitta spoke to a variety of press, including OK! magazine, Reveal magazine, Woman magazine, as well as many radio stations such as BBC Radio Newcastle, Juicy Brighton and BBC Radio Sheffield. Even the Aussies wanted in on the action! Joy 94.9 Radio rang Sinitta all the way from Australia after enjoying all her 80s hits! After a quick lunch, we were off in a cab to North London for Sinitta’s interview with Entertainment News. Before we could catch our breath we were off again to the BBC for Sinitta’s appearance on the Jo Good Show. Jo played Sinitta’s new song on her show and had everybody dancing. It looks like it really could be an anthem for Summer 2014! After this appearance, as well as posing with fans and offering some of her wisdom to a hopeful musical star, Sinitta was off home for her final radio interview of the day: Metro Radio in Newcastle.
All in all JJG organised and carried out over 20 interviews! Despite probably being absolutely exhausted, in typical fabulous Sinitta fashion, she spoke to everyone with total ease and genuine excitement about her musical comeback! The day was a total success – as well as being really good fun! It was an experience which showcases JJG, and Jason’s willingness to give Junior Team Members brilliant opportunities – something I am very grateful for.
